One of the best utilities Ive used. Anyone trying to convert from Outlook to another email client knows it is painful drudgery. This app relieves the pain. It is quick, efficient, does not require Outlook to be installed and very affordable. I converted 50,000+ emails from about a decade worth of .pst files. The UI is well done with great explanations on how to import the results into Mail.app or other clients. Much better than other pst converters like "O2M" and "Emailchemy". Nice reports to view results after export is completed. One caveat: I work in government and therefore have many SMIME emails (digitally signed and/or encrypted emails). Unfortunately Mail.app cannot view or decrypt these emails after export from .pst. These emails appear with a SMIME.P7M attachment isntead of plain text. However, I have not found any other .pst converter app that preserves SMIME certificates for viewing in other email clients. Just a note.

I needed to pull the email documents out of a .PST document from a PC-only/Outlook dependant client. This was perfect. I appreciate the option to export to .EML which are more OS X friendly (compatible with QuickLook).

I just left my job and migrated all my pst outlook emails to my mac. I was so worried that all of my contacts and emails would be lost. With this app I was able to convert all of them so that my mac computer could read them all!! Now I have them in my Mac and Im able to browse through them at any time!!! Thank you PST Converter Pro!

Wow! This app works very well! It’s a shame that Mail can’t import Outlook for Windows’ PST files directly. I have ALL my old emails, for the past 15 years or so, in a HUGE PST file. But I had been on Windows for most of that time. When I switched to the Mac, there didn’t seem to be a safe and easy way to import them into Mail. So I had to get Outlook for Mac. I hate it, but I need all my old emails. I’ve searched for conversion options in the past, but the Internet is a dangerous place: I couldn’t tell what would work and whether it could be trusted. And since I couldn’t find any trustworthy reviews, I just stuck to Outlook for Mac for old emails and used Mail for new emails. Recently, I decided to check the Mac App Store — and, lo and behold, this app was available. The reviews were mostly good, so I decided to give it a try. And it worked! Very well, in fact! It converted my 13.5 GB PST file without a problem. (Well, as far as I can see anyway. I haven’t checked all of the emails, but it seems to have worked quite well.) It was relatively quick, too: much faster than I remember Outlook for Mac being when it was importing the same file. I highly recommend this app! I paid $25. While that seemed like a lot when I wasn’t sure it would work, it was TOTALLY worth the price to bring all my old emails into Mail.

i had over 30,000 emails on my pc in outlook. conversion was easy and superfast. they were all in apple mail in less than 5 minutes!

Quick, easy and does just what it says it will. Huge help to be able to convert 18,000+ Windows emails to Apple Mail and it took no time at all to do it.

I’ve been a PC person all my life and just switched to MAC. Long story behind it, but if you switched too you know why. So I needed to move my pc outlook mail to my mac for business history and this app did it seamlessly. Seriously, I’ve only had my Mac for a day and I’m still trying to understand the new environment, which I love so far, and this app made everything so easy. All my folders and subfolders for every client were in there, I just moved them from the imported box to my business mailbox. Could not be easier. Thanks!

While I hate the idea of spending almost $30 for software that is going to do just one thing for me, just one time, I have to acknowledge that at least this program does it perfectly. Plus, a very pleasant surprise was finding that it did it incredibly fast! I was expecting that the conversion of my 125,000 email archive was going to take hours to complete, and I waited until I had a big time gap to get it done. I was therefore quite shocked to find that the conversion was done in only five minutes! It took much longer—fifteen minutes—to load the converted file into Mac Mail. Total job—twenty minutes. Worth the $30.

I was a little skeptical paying $28.99 for an application that personally I feel should be an included function of Mail. Regardless, this program worked as described. It took almost 3 hours to get my Outlook files exported from my PC, it took a mere 3-5 minutes to convert the file using PST Converter Pro. Once converted, importing the necessary files into Mail took another 10-15 minutes. It was incrediably fast and as far as I tell, my folders and emails are all there, in the same places they were before. This is a must have for anyone trying to convert from MS Outlook to Mac Mail.

This app wokred great. Didn’t have to read anything… it was very intuitive for what I wanted to do…. convert a PST into an importable VCF file. It handled 1200 contacts quickly! I first tried the highly rated CSV to VCARD program….. which was a total bust I was reluctant to use this because it didn’t have any ratings in the search que. However, after doing some googling I found thatCNET rated this program highly also when even though there were not enough reviews to assign a rating after search the reviews that it did have were very high. Funny… I’ve see apps with much less ratings and still they manage to get rated. Apple needs to do a better job on when it assigns starts. . Wish I bought it earlie as waisted a lot of time with other useless apps. $29 was worth it.

For once, software that actually does what it claims, without problems or complexity. I had some very, very old PST files, from the 1990s. It handled them as well as the newer ones. It creates individual EML files or MBOX files. The only feature I wish is that when exporting EML files it would honor the folders and export EML files into filders, rather than everything into one giant folder with 20000 messages.

Great app that does what it says and does it well. I had to convert a massive Outlook database over to use on the Mac and where other tools failed, this one worked like a champ. Best of all, it’s blazingly fast. Due to an old, slow PC it took 4 hours to transfer the PST file but only minutes for this app to convert it to files the Mac could import into Mail. 9 years of mail saved. Thank you very much!

Having recently moved from a PC to an iMac running El Capitan, I have been struggling with getting my PC’s Outlook PST contents migrated to Apple Mail. Even though there are plenty of posts about how easily you should be able to get things into MBox format and then into Apple Mail, Mail would always crash at the point if import (lots written about that recently, since El Capitan debuted). I tried one PST converter for $5, and it just didn’t work. So, I decided to take the plunge and buy this app, and I was very pleasantly surprised (and relieved that it wasn’t just a total waste of $30)! For reference, my PST was approx 8GB, and spanned 10+ years of important stuff I just didn’t want to lose, so for those that might scoff at spending $30, I view it as an investment well worth it, as it worked exactly as billed, and did it fast. Granted, the likeilhood that I will ever use it again is low, but the fact that it helped me get everything into Apple Mail rocked. Thank you, thank you, thank you guys.

This is an excellent solution to import outlook.pst into MAC mail. The idea of spending $30 for a one time solution held me back for awhile as I contemplated other methods. Finally went ahead, when I encountered issues with the export from outlook I contacted the support folks and received wonderful first class help in resolving all the issues. In summary a well spend $30.00 on this issue. Highly reccomend this converter program

I needed to export Addresses from Outlook and put them into Mac Contacts and this worked exquisitely. I tried every other method, and those kept truncating the “Notes” field, but this tool brought over everything, including pictures, from the .PST file. Nice tool. As others have said, it’s a lot to pay for a one-time conversion (hopefully), but after hours of aggrevation I finally relented and paid - glad I did. Solved the whole problem in about 10 seconds. Nice software!
